My Bio
Director, Writer, Sole Costume Department and general jack-of-all-trades for a small entertainment company, I am currently studying Costume Design and Business at the University of Washington. Armed with my (semi-vindictive) sewing maching I'm a self-taught costume technician with absolutely no formal construction training. As such, the work shown here has varied in quality over the years, but seems to improve with each passing event, and nothing makes me happier than wearing something I've made well.

Big Things!

so...I haven't posted one of these in a while, but I'm back doing projects so I might as well post one, in case anybody cares. Christmas was busy, I had to buy people presents, and the things I was in the process of making for them are strewn about in various states of uncompletedness. Oh well. I'll get around to those eventually. In the meantime I've been in typical sewing fervor. I got some money in the bank and i've been slowly aquiring things for which to costume with again. We still don't know what con we're gonna be able to make it to next...(things are all a little up in the air, with Cassi graduating and moving back to Seattle,

I have a crick in my neck. It's not as bad as some of the ones I've been having but it's still really annoying. I would sit and put heat on it but I don't really have the time. So I've been working on small crafty stuff lately. Pillowcase art, fabric wall art things. I got this idea for working with felt, that I seem to be mild/moderatly good at, so I've been hauling out all the birthday presents I have to make out of it. On my roster I need to finish... A pillowcase (almost done, but lots of hand stitching) and a wall art piece (1/4 done) before saturday, when said birthday parties commence. Then shortly after I need to do a big pillow an

Ahhh. So I'm finally get around to doing my post-con wrap up. Con was great, as usual! Although I am amazingly thrilled that this will be the last con in those awful Hilton buildings. I know the staff tried really hard to get us to be nice to the hotel staff, and remind us that they are doing their best, but I think they were just as pleased that we're through the two-year-contract as all the con goers were. Not only is the buidling too small, confusing and the staff frustrating; but I swear that building was designed by somebody coming off a three day crack-high. -_- Stairs that go no where, dead-ends, weird shaped floors and big holes
